MEET ACE! He is a neutered male Anatolian Shepherd Dog or mix, estimated DOB January 2020. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and in good health. Ace weighs right around 100 lbs, more or less.
Ace came to us after a concerned citizen contacted us about a dog who had been living on his own around their neighborhood for over a year. Luckily, we had a wonderful foster home nearby and they were able to pick him up.
Ace was obviously someone’s much loved companion at some point. He has wonderful house manners, knows basic commands (Anatolian style), walks on leash and is house broken.
Ace gets along well with other dogs.
He LOVES kids. He truly adores them and becomes very excited and animated when he sees or even hears children on TV.
He doesn’t get on furniture and wont sleep on dog beds but he will curl himself up into a teeny tiny ball to lie on a rug or door mat.
Ace also LOVES riding in the car.
If you’re looking for a dog who is past all of the puppy and adolescent nonsense and prefer a well rounded, laid back dog who already possesses good manners….. look no further!
As a side note, Ace’s one vice is that he doesnt like to share food or high value items like bones with the other dogs.
