My Story
Hi there! My name is PHOEBE. What’s yours? Nice to meet ya! I am in Houston, TX. My rescue has posted me in Houston, Dallas, Austin and San Antonio and in other cities across the U. S. and into Canada! But if you are within driving distance, can you come to Houston to pick me up, please? If you are out of state, I can travel to you. You won’t be disappointed, I promise!
A nice person came along and took me in and, now, I am ready to hit the road to your house! Uh, make that “our” house, OK? The rescue requires a securely fenced yard (for all of their dogs – large or small) and an EXCELLENT, already-established vet HISTORY on a current or previous dog. If you fulfill these initial requirements, please let me know and I will email an application back to you. We would call your vet once you have filled out an application. You don’t have to produce vet records beforehand.
I am a BULL TERRIER. We are known to be sweet-tempered, keen, active, protective and very trainable. I am ALL of those things AND I am already very well-trained. I weigh 34 lbs. and I am 5-years old. Those funny-looking 2-legged creatures said I am also microchipped – whatever THAT is.
I don’t have a family anymore and now I’d like to join YOUR family. I was in my previous home since I was 8 weeks old.
I am fun and funny and chasing balls is my FAVORITE past time. Then, I like to rest and cuddle with you or just be near you. I also love kisses and belly rubs.
I am crate-trained AND doggie-door trained. I am active in the medium range until we really get to playing and I can play, play, play! I want so badly to be loved on as much as possible. I like to take naps when I am tired from playing. I need love, exercise, and couch-sitting when we get tired! Let’s be a team, OK?
If you would like to take me home (and you know you do), please email [email protected]. My local adoption fee for an adopter coming to the Houston area to pick me up is $200 and includes all vetting, spaying, and a microchip. All of my vet records will be provided to my adopter. My out-of-state adoption fee is $550 and includes a Health Certificate and Transportation in addition to all vetting named above. I hope to see you soon!
