My Story

Milo, Mercy, Maycie, Max, Mittens, and Murry almost never got a chance at life. They were found in a nest buried under straw in a construction zone. No sign of a mother anywhere around, and no time left. We got a phone call from the maintenance department of this company. Not only had they found this litter of six – there was another litter with four more even smaller kittens.
The first lucky break was when the maintenance team picked them up -complete with straw nest- and placed all of them in their wheelbarrow and reached out to us for help. Nine of these ten babies have survived and are thriving. It took a lot of hand feeding and TLC to coach them along in the early weeks. But now they are beautiful, ready to get fixed, and find forever homes.
The litter of six has three boys and three girls. They all get along very well. They are all fun, affectionate, and very social. They have had a lot of personal touch since they came to us as very vulnerable orphans at about 3 weeks of age. Two of the girls, Mercy and Maycie are the shyest two in the group. They are the smallest of the six. Their big brothers like to play with them rougher than they like. They just hope for adopters that are a little bit gentler than their bigger brothers.
Milo and Murry are already fixed and ready to be adopted. The other four will be getting fixed very soon. In addition when we get out kittens fixed, we have their blood work checked for common feline health concerns, they receive all needed vaccinations, and we have them microchipped! We hope all of them will be in their new homes, together or individually, this summer!

Last Litter Rescue (LLR) works to rescue, foster, fix, and find forever homes for kittens that were born to a homeless mother cat. We also have an effort known as Purr-fect Love TNR and we work alongside other select TNR groups and a network of  kitten fosters to reduce the homeless feline population. We value born and prenatal  kittens. Animal welfare is one of five areas that our parent organization Love Give Live works in to relieve suffering and promote wholeness.
