My Story
Meet Agnes,
She was part of a cruelty case involving 6 small chihuahuas. Sadly,
Agnes and her brothers and sisters were kept outside, covered in yeast infection and scabs from itching so much. They did not receive medical care and the infection caused severe hair loss. Yest infection IS NOT CONTAGIOUS to humans or other pets. They are safe to be around other animals. Their immune system is compromised and caused their body to react to the infection.
Agnes is a sweet little guy. We estimate her age to be between 10-12 years old. She loves sleeping in her bed next to her siblings, sunbathing, and quiet evenings. She doesn’t mind other dogs or cats. If you love little dogs that is very low maintenance, Agnes is perfect.
At this time, we are looking for a foster home for everyone involved in this case! Foster care will be short-long-term depending on their response to oral antibiotics and how long it takes to clear up the infection.
