My Story
Meet Wendy, the spirited bundle of energy at our shelter who’s always ready for an adventure! Wendy embodies boundless enthusiasm and zest for life, making every moment with her a thrilling experience. She’s obsessed with food and loves nothing more than indulging in tasty treats.
Despite her high-energy nature, Wendy has a soft side too. After a day filled with play and excitement, she enjoys nothing more than tuckering down for a cozy nap, often curled up next to her brother Coleman, whom she adores.
Wendy thrives on activity and would be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures, playtime, and lots of affectionate cuddles. If you’re looking for a spirited and loving companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your life with joy, Wendy is the pup you’ve been waiting for.
Socialization, training (including house training), and exercise are just a few of the things she will look to you for.
Chewing, teething, and learning what is Okay and not Okay to put in her mouth are all part of the puppy experience. And, be prepared for the time and money for frequent trips to the vet during the first few months so she can get up to date on my boosters and vaccines.
But most of all, be prepared for all of the LOVE, puppy kisses, and joy she will bring into your life.
If you are up for the challenge and the fun, stop in and meet her cute self in person during our adoption hours. For more information, email [email protected] or call us at 847-697-2880 x: 90, and the staff will be happy to help you.
Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
