My Story
TUX is one of the most outgoing and friendly male cats you could ever meet! He is a beautiful black-and-white tuxedo, shorthaired cat. He arrived at the end of May 2024 with an estimated age of five months. Thanks to a partnership between UT and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, he was selected for a sponsored neuter surgery on Tuesday, July 2. He will return to the shelter to recover and will be available for adoption appointments again on Friday, July 5. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees at that time. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared! That includes a taking an adult size cat carrier with you to the adoption appointment in case you do decide to adopt TUX. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
