My Story
Are you looking for a vacuum cleaner who also loves car rides and snuggles? Meet Ryker. His FAVORITE place in the world is the car and he will happily eat anything you drop on the floor. If you give him a ball, he will keep himself entertained for hours.
Ryker has all the best qualities of a herding breed- loyal, smart and eager to please. However, he also has all the best qualities of a family dog- goofy, cuddly and oh so sweet.
Ryker spent most of his life in a shelter, so when he came to his foster mom they immediately started working on teaching him basic commands and manners. After a few days, he had almost all of them down!! Every day he keeps getting smarter and learning more, and he’s working his hardest to learn all the new things. There is nothing he won’t do for a treat.
Ryker is kennel trained, knows his basic commands and is quickly learning how to fetch. He is not destructive and will only chew on toys and balls he’s been given. He is potty trained and gets along with other doggos. Ryker loves to give kisses, so if there are kids in the home bigger kiddos are better (probably 7+) so they can understand how he works and how to tell him no.
While Ryker will do well with other dogs in the home, having a crate for him or separate area to feed him dinner would be good at least until he settles in.
