My Story
Meet RJ, a certified fuddy duddy. This sweet senior Shih Tzu mix weighs about 15 lbs, so he’s the perfect size for snuggling and carrying around. His back legs don’t work perfectly anymore and he’s almost completely blind, but he doesn’t let that stop him from charging around at full speed, seeking out smells that make him happy. His very favorite thing in the world is laying in a comfortable, familiar spot and letting the world go by. He’s fully potty trained and hasn’t had any accidents in his foster home. Although he does fine in a crate, he’s past the stage of being interested in antics and can be trusted outside his crate. He gets along with other dogs unless they get in his face and he finds it necessary to stand his ground, but would also do well as an only dog. If you’re looking for a sweet, low energy little guy with a very old man personality, RJ might be your perfect fit!

Adoption fee: $325
All dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. As required by Wisconsin Act 90, all dogs will have received a veterinarian exam (CVI) within the past 30 days.
Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the “HOW TO ADOPT” tab at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.
