My Story
This is River! River is a 3 year old, gorgeous mix of lab/husky/Aussie/pitbull, aka Heinz 27, and she is in need of a family who has the time to make her part of their pack and include her in their daily adventures.
River has labby energy, is very sweet and loving, loves a good adventure and bonds well with her people. She is a great walking companion; but she needs people who can foster better habits with leash reactivity- a common and trainable issue for rescue and breeder dogs alike. River loves to please! She just needs to learn and be given the practice to reinforce constructive behaviors. She can be hesitant with some strangers but once she knows you are safe, River is an absolute love and is a sucker for belly rubs. She’s a great wing- mutt on car rides as well!
River is currently with a family with young children and we all know how hard that is to balance! River deserves a family with the time a dog needs, and has positive dog savvy skills.
