My Story

My name is Ritz, although my foster mom calls me “pup-pup” I am about 6 months old and the shelter guessed I am a pitt bull mix, I am not sure I believe them. I am a timid guy; some things and people scare me but I am getting braver every day as I learn the world is a safe place. I love to play outside with the other dogs; running and wrestling are my favorites. I like playing with toys too, especially balls. I am mostly housetrained, I haven’t pottied in the house for over a week but I forget to tell my people when I have to go out. I do not love being in a kennel but sometimes I gotta do things I don’t wanna do. I will sleep quietly in the kennel as long as I can see the people. I stay in the kennel while my family is working but I am not happy about it. My favorite place is in the bed next to the humans or right next to their feet. I am looking for a family of my very own who will help me feel safe and loved forever. Is that you?
