Type of a scam Employment

My son received a couple e-mails at his U of MN school account from the above address identifying himself as working with the above company. He was offered an employment opportunity of working from home for $400 a week around his class schedule. Job presented to him as being the "middle man" for overseas company. All he would have to do is "receive and deposit checks on the behalf of our suppliers". He corresponded a couple of times, then asked for my advice. I instructed my son to discontinue correspondence. Attached is what he received when he asked for more information.
