My Story
Hey there, I’m Porkchop – a young, large Pit mix with a heart full of gratitude and a story that began with a kind-hearted family who rescued me from the streets. Despite our efforts, my previous owner couldn’t be found, and now I’m eagerly hoping to find a forever family at a new home. I’m a big bundle of love, and my sweet demeanor shines through in every wag of my tail. You’ll find me bringing a dose of sunshine to every moment. Cuddles are my specialty! Beware though…..I am an 80lb lap dog. I can find space to sit with you in any size chair!!! I am not a high energy dog but do enjoy long slow walks. Despite my size, I never pull on my leash even if I spy on a squirrel. I know sit and shake and I recall well. There’s nothing I love more than curling up beside you for some heartwarming snuggles. My friendly nature extends to other dogs too – I’m dog-friendly and always ready for a playdate. I am a good watchdog as I am wary of new people but watch your cues and your friends are my friends. Life’s just better with a loyal companion by your side, and I’m ready to fill that role with all my love.
