My Story
Meet Otis! Otis is an extremely friendly and handsome orange tabby gentleman. He has the most loving, gentle, and loyal personality. Otis has never met a stranger and absolutely loves human companionship. He is estimated to be 7-9 years old and was rescued with a tail injury that required a partial amputation which is where he got his adorable bobbed tail from! Otis has made a full recovery and is ready to find a loving forever home of his own. We really hope that Otis’s age won’t deter adopters as he is still full of so much youthful, playful energy and has so much love to bring his future home. After living many years of his life without a home, he is so incredibly deserving of finding a loving home to spend the rest of his life with. In return, Otis will be the most loyal and loving companion you could hope for. Otis does have a few special but very simple needs from a future adopter. Otis has chronic allergies that are being well managed with a prescription allergy medication and he is also on a prescription diet to support his kidney health. He is looking for an adopter who is willing to continue his allergy medication and prescription diet. Other than those two special needs, Otis is one of the most adaptable and easy going cats you’ll ever met. With his laid back personality, he would be a great fit for almost any loving family. In foster care, he has been a wonderful mentor to several younger kitties but he also wouldn’t mind being a solo cat and getting all of his human’s attention! His disposition with dogs is unknown, but we believe he would do well with cat friendly dogs. His relaxed disposition would also be a good fit for a family with kids. Otis is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, has tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has also had recent bloodwork and a recent dental cleaning. All that’s left is to find him a family!
