A volunteer writes: Sweet and petite, Mocha is a treat! I’m smitten with her soulful eyes and expressive face, feeling like we are old friends as we sit on a bench and enjoy the sunshine. During her time at the shelter with us Mocha has been such a good girl, getting straight-As for learning commands like SIT and SHAKE, as if she’s in the gifted and talented class! This gentle gal is waiting for her forever home, and Mocha will bring a smile to whoever is lucky enough to share their time with her.
Another Volunteer Writes: Mocha is a volunteer favorite, getting dozens of shout-outs for being “friendly!” “Sweet and gentle!” and “An excellent dog!” Mocha previously lived with children and she’s so gentle it’s not a surprise-she’s just an angel girl who wants to sit by my side, offer up hugs, and gently take treats. Other dogs nearby? No problem. Pigeons teasing her? She takes the high ground. Mocha, who knows “sit” and “stay,” is described by her former owner as “quiet and playful,” and we agree she is absolutely a perfect pet!
