My Story
LAP CAT EXTRAORDINAIRE
DOB 4/1/24
Hey there, everyone! I’m MJ, which is short for Mini Jack. I’m a very sweet, extremely affectionate red Classic tabby fella with marble swirls on my sides instead of mackerel stripes who is a lap cat extraordinaire. In fact, when Foster Meowmy puts me down from her lap, I’m so determined to stay there that I immediately jump back up. I’m a playful guy who adores any kind of toy – electronic, wands with feathers, balls with bells, catnip mice — and I can be quite a soccer striker with crinkle balls.
I was found dumpster-diving at a restaurant in Bellaire Chinatown, and my rescuer was delighted that I was very sociable – probably someone’s abandoned three-month-old pet kitten who was just trying to survive paw-to-mouth. Once inside, I fit in great with the other foster cat Duke, and we enjoy playing together just like younger/ older brothers.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I’m gentle enough to live in a home with young children and young enough to adjust to a home with cat-friendly dogs. Foster Meowmy is insisting that I be adopted into a home that has another cat to play with me. Better yet, it’d be the cat’s meow if Duke and I could be adopted together, although we’re available separately.
Foster Meowmy wants me to tell you that I’m very well-behaved and have perfect scratching-post and litter-box manners. Arrange to meet me today! I can’t wait to cuddle in your lap. My heart has so much love to give – all I need is YOU!
