My Story

Sugary, smooth, and delicious, you will absolutely fall in love with Marzipan! This 1-year old, 13-pound Rat Terrier/Jack Russell mix is not exactly edible, but she is such a little honey, you just might want to hug her and kiss her all day long!
Fully housebroken and a pro on a leash, Marzipan loves being walked and takes care of her bathroom business quickly and efficiently. She is friendly and welcoming toward everyone she meets, including kids and other dogs, displaying a gentle approach and a kind demeanor. Well-mannered and evidently previously trained, Marzipan knows the commands sit, come, and down. She loves food and will patiently wait for treats and meals. She has these beautiful brown eyes that gaze at you, as if she’s trying to say thank you for finding me and loving me.
Marzipan is a total love bug and thrives on affection. You can pet her from head to toe, rub her belly, and scratch her ears, and she will be in utter ecstasy. She is equal parts chill and upbeat, and will adapt to the vibe of the household. She likes to play with a rubber ball and chew on stuffies, and has the ability to self-entertain when her humans are busy. She is also content simply being near her people. But whenever you’re willing to play with her, she’s always ready for fun!
Marzipan sheds minimally, barks occasionally, and is terrific in a car. She never met a pile of pillows she didn’t like and she’s a great ‘lil co-worker and a super adorable companion. It doesn’t get any better than that!
