My Story
Mars looks so sad in his intake photo. While he still has expressive, puppy dog eyes, he is settling well to his foster home and appears more relaxed and content. He is a little skittish and timid at first but he comes around before too long and once he does, he is SO excited to see his people.
He is around 6 months old, up to date on vaccines, neutered and read to find his family. Doing great with crate and potty training. Will likely need to build some confidence on leash but he is doing really well walking on leash with a buddy dog. He does still get spooked with different neighborhood sounds (zooming traffic, lawnmowers, etc) so will need some patience. He loves to be outside. He is 23 lbs and listed as Chihuahua/Pug mix. We don’t really know for sure as he and his siblings were found dumped in the country with no parents. He will likely be 30-35 lbs full grown. Good with dogs and initial intros with the cat went well.
He is an incredibly sweet dude and will be a great size, full grown. Someone scoop this guy up and show his how great people can be!
