Looking for our Chihuahua lovers!
Meet Laverne and Shirley, our sweet bonded Chi sisters. They are approx. 7 yrs old, found dumped on the streets in the Redlands. They are potty trained with doggy doors, and will do anything for food! The girls are typical chi’s, barky with strangers but quiet down fast and accepting of new people quickly. (Especially if you have a treat). These girls crave love and attention and are perfect little house babies to curl up on the couch and watch a movie.
MUST be adopted together, no exceptions. We will not separate them.

2. Meet with the dog or cat. Bring treats/toys if you would like.
During COVID and for TRANSPORT- Virtual Home Visit using Facetime
3. If adoption is approved – Complete Adoption Contract
2023/24 adoption donations-
Local (South Florida) cat adoption – $250
Local (South Florida) dog adoption – $400
Out of state cat adoption:
One cat- $350
Two cats- $450
Out of state dog adoption:
One dog – $500
All donations are tax deductible.
Adoption donation for dogs includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Microchip, Deworming, and Heartworm Check if needed.
Adoption donation for cats/kittens includes Spay/Neuter, Up to Date Vaccines, Deworming, FeLV/FIV testing and Microchip
5. Thank you! This is the Dog! does not have a shelter. Our dogs and cats are in foster homes primarily in Homestead, FL. We are a small group of volunteers making a difference in the lives of people and the dogs/cats that we help.
