My Story

Hello everyone! My name is Jinx and I am about 7 years old. I’m a super handsome boy, don’t you think? I am also a huge sweetheart! I may be a bit shy at first, but once I get comfortable around you, I’ll be your favorite furry companion. I may even make a great lap cat. I guess you’ll just have to give me a chance and find out 🙂 You should know that I have also made a huge impact in veterinary medicine by being a blood donor and have helped save over 80 animal lives during my time here at Nine Lives! My caretakers think that it’s about time that I lived out my retirement in a fur-ever home with my own special person or family. I can potentially do well with other cats as long as they’re pretty chill and respectful of my space. I’ve never lived with little children or dogs before, but based on my personality, my caretakers think I would do best without other dogs in the home. I would most likely do best with older children if I do go to a home with children. I do sometimes poop and pee outside of the litter box, so my caretakers think the ideal environment for me would be in a barn or as an outdoor cat. I would also need consistent grooming to keep up with my beautiful long fur as I am not always the best at keeping up with it myself. I am neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations.
