8/4 Jimmy had another fantastic night!!
I realized this morning just how quiet this guy is. He’s my silent shadow whenever I go into a room, only reason you know he’s there is by the sound of his wagging tail brushing against whatever’s he’s next to ?. Apart from the 2 barks, the first night when he was kenneled, he hasn’t made a sound!
Jimmy Dean slept great thru the night again on his dog bed and again went outside for his business this morning, no accidents.
He enjoyed watching the house dog run around with the zoomies this morning, so far that doesn’t seem to be Jimmy Deans pace. He seems much more the type to lay next to you while you enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and watch the world go by ??.

8/4 Only thing better than one sleepover is TWO!!! We decided to have Jimmy Dean stay the weekend. With how easy going he is, it was an easy decision to make.
Jimmy Dean would make an excellent companion for a solo person or a family. His laid back attitude and calm demeanor make him the sweetest potential addition to any type of family.
We’re going into night two with no accidents ALL DAY! What a show off!! He kennels nicely when I had to leave and sits great in car rides. He was even sitting on command for some tasty treats. So far Jimmy Dean is perfection
8/3 Jimmy Dean did just fantastic last night! He wasn’t a big fan of being alone in his kennel in the dark, who could blame him, so I decided to bring him in my room and set up the dog bed. He did fantastic with sleeping in his bed, no accidents!
We woke up this morning, went for a car ride, which he seems to handle just fine. After he ate breakfast we again went outside, where he seemed more interested to lounge on the porch than wander the yard, so far no accidents in the house.
Jimmy is a laid back kinda guy. If you’re perfect night in, is relaxing on the couch, then he’s your guy!!
Jimmy walks up and just rests his head on my legs waiting for scratches and once they start he just melts in your hands. He’s timid and shy but boy oh boy does that tail wag when he’s happy.
He does great with kids and the dog who lives in house.
Jimmy Dean will make a fantastic companion!

To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION.
Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
