My Story
HANDSY is a playful yet mellow male teenager kitty. He is a small short-haired grey tabby and sports a combination of black stripes and polka dots! Handsy was one of a litter of five kittens found living under a house and was initially timid and cautious when he arrived in foster care, but with encouragement, affection and interactive play sessions, he has blossomed into a sweet rascal. He enjoys exploring and romping with his litter brothers and foster cat sister, batting at wand toys, chasing spiral springs, racing to the top of tall cat trees and then cuddling up for a nap with one or two other kitties. Handsy enjoys sleeping with his foster parents and seeks out morning belly rubs that gently wake him for breakfast; in the evenings he often settles in for lap-time cuddles. A sensitive fella who will run for cover from loud noises and hustle-bustle activities, Handsy will settle best into a small family with a quiet, low-key routine. This handsome boy is looking for his forever family who will provide him with affection and playful attention.
HANDSY has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. A volunteer adoption counselor will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
