My Story

Gusty and his siblings were found as 2.5 week old puppies living in a ditch with their feral mama in a rural town we help. There was a hurricane coming to the area, and we knew they wouldn’t survive the flooding. One of our kind fosters picked them up and she’s kept them safe and healthy. Now, Gusty and his siblings are old enough to find forever families of their own.
Gusty has done great with the small, medium and large dogs in his foster home. He is also being fostered with children as young as five. He likes to play with any type of puppy toys and wants all of the pets he can get.
He is crate trained and puppy pad trained. We think his dad is Australian Cattle Dog, and his mom is a wire haired terrier/chihuahua mix around 20 pounds. Gusty weighs 5 pounds. He is 9 weeks old and will likely be medium sized when he’s full grown.
Gusty has been vaccinated twice for DHPP, bordetella vaccinated, microchipped and is current on flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
He will arrive in the Pacific Northwest on 8/10. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt
