My Story

Gimley is a handsome young boy about 2 years old. His marbled tabby pattern is unique and gives him a distinct look. He is a very smart boy who wandered into his foster family’s home on Thanksgiving somehow knowing that he chose the perfect home to care for him while he seeks out a new forever family. We don’t know anything about his past before he arrived at his foster home but he has been a friendly, playful cat since his arrival.
Gimley is a curious boy who enjoys playing with puffballs, wand toys, and a laser light. He also enjoys hanging out on his cat tree (which will go with him to a new home) for window watching of all the fun things he can see. He needs to remain an indoor only cat just like all Reuben’s Room cats.
He is friendly to strangers and is curious when someone new arrives but may not necessarily seek them out. He can be an independent boy but he will also seek out attention for some lap time and he will happily knead on a soft blanket or a pet bed.
Gimley is currently staying in his foster home with Pippin who is also available for adoption and they get along well and play together frequently. He can be adopted separately from Pippin or together for someone who wants the companionship of two fur babies which is always a great thing! He will also likely do well in a home with other  cats with a proper introduction. We don’t know how he is with children or  dogs. He doesn’t currently sleep with his foster family but he may in a home of his own if you let him.
Can you make room for this handsome, playful youngster? He has many good years ahead of him to provide you joy and companionship.
