My Story
Meet this giant young man, Giddy Up. Giddy Up is a Great Dane who weighs 104 pounds at 11 months old and he is underweight. So he has A LOT of room grow still, he is strictly on puppy chow to help him get back up to weight and get all his nutrients back up. Giddy Up has a few issues that need to be worked on, he is very mouthy, he likes to jump on you and does not understand how big he really is. He loves everyone and his mouthing is FAR from aggression, he just has a very strange way of showing his love. Giddy Up will need to be trained to mind his manners, and we are recommending he go home with bigger kids just because he is completely unaware of his size and strength. Giddy Up also needs a cat free home as they completely terrify him and he freaks out, we are unsure what he would do if he were to be cornered but a feline friend. He does very well with other canine companions. Please do your research on Danes and make sure you understand their size is a huge factor to how well they will fit in.
Giddy Up’s adoption fee is $350
All of our animals are provided with age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. To meet our incredible dogs and offer them the love they deserve, stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 – 4 PM, call us at 217-243-7297. We do applications in person or over the phone. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page, PAWS Jackson. With an approved application, a deposit will hold your new best friend for up to 1 week to allow you time to come to PAWS. This deposit is not refundable nor transferable.
