My Story
Freyja is looking for an experienced dog parent that has had large dogs in the past. She needs a patient person that has dealt with shy and scared dogs. Freyja was dumped on a dark road in the middle of nowhere and was almost hit by a car. She had obviously recently had puppies that were no where to be found. A kind lady took her in but she can’t keep her.
She is so amazing the stuffed animals and stuffed beds explode with excitement in her presence! She is a very affectionate dog that would love to snuggle on the couch. She really need a loving family that can be home with her and take her on car rides because she love to ride, especially with the windows down.
She just loves her 9 yo human foster sister (her favorite person). Sometimes she forgets she is a pretty big girl and excitedly likes to jump on people as she runs and plays. We are working on that to correct that behavior. Due to her size caution and training recommended for her. She will need help with housebreaking, since her fosters work long hours and have not been able to keep her in the house and set her on potty schedule. She is not a fan of her crate and can be vocal about it. She is not a fan of my crate and can be vocal about it. Like a typical pitbulI she will need some strong chew toys. What she really needs is a family with time, patience and some experience with training to see the potential she has to be a wonderful companion. She is great off lead.
Our dogs are fostered in Texas but available for adoption in the Northern States. We have transports that leave Texas monthly. Our out of state adoption fee is $600 per dog. This fee includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, a registered microchip, a negative heart worm test (if over 6 months old), health certificate, flea/tick monthly preventative and transport costs. The adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Face time, etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
