My Story
Meet Colonel (brown/white) and Corporal (black/white), 2 sweethearts guaranteed to melt YOUR heart! C & C are approximately 8 month old Jack Russell Terrier mixes, and they weigh about 25-30 lbs. Our best educated guess is that they are mixed with some kind of heeler or cattle dog, as they are long legged and very agile girls with a love for following their noses. These 2 girls were found abandoned in a trailer after their owners moved out and left them behind. Named after Admiral, one of our long time supporter’s dog, we started ” doggy boot camp” to get these girls healthy again after their abandonment. Now that they have been fully vetted and had some much needed TLC, they are ready to find their forever homes. Both girls get along well with other dogs and absolutely love to play; whether that’s with people, toys, or canine companions. They both have a fairly active prey/toy drive and would be best suited for a home without cats or other small animals that may be mistaken as something to chase. The girls LOVE children and would be thrilled to have some kiddos to call their own! C & C are learning how to walk on leash and are starting some crate training, they are both intelligent girls and have young minds ready to be shaped with some consistent training. If you are looking for a loving and playful addition (or additions; C & C do not have to be adopted together, however they would make a wonderful pair) to your family, consider meeting Colonel and Corporal!
