My Story
Meet Brianna and Sassy, an adorable and sweet duo who would love nothing more than to be adopted together. These girls were found separately on the streets but developed a deep bond while in their foster home. They have recently come to the shelter environment, which has been a bit overwhelming, but lean on each other for support.
Brianna, the sleek all-black petite girl, has some of the most expressive eyes we have ever seen. She is often reserved around new people, and can startle with quick movements, but her eyes will let you know she is ready for affection. She is clear in her slow blinks, which signal it’s time to move in for some pets. This gal enjoys head and chin scratches, but what she adores is having her back scratched, just before the tail. This will entice her to come closer, and maybe snuggle next to you for more gentle petting. While she can be handled and held, she much prefers to just sit quietly near you. Brianna also adores being talked to! She does like toys but doesn’t yet have a favorite in the shelter. We think she’ll show a playful side once she’s in a home environment.
Sociability:
People: Brianna takes a slow approach but is a very gentle girl. We do not know how she would respond to children, so we recommend a quiet, adult household where she can flourish.
Cats: Brianna loves Sassy and does not mind the company of other friendly felines.
Dogs: We do not know if she has been exposed to dogs.
