This ad was on a news website. It said the product was free and all that was required was a postage and handling fee. I used my debit card info and received their face cream and anti-aging eye serum. This morning I checked my account and they have put a $89.71 and $89.00 charge on my account. I got on their contact us page and entered my name and email address. The page indicated that my message was "sent" but I have no phone number or address for this outfit. I am 69-years-old and thought I was too savvy for scammers, but I think I got took this time. Please help and tell me what to do about these people getting into my account. What can I do to protect my meager income? Right now the transaction is pending in my account. Unfortunately, I did not keep any of the wrapping or paperwork.

I was enticed with the offer of free tubes of Borealis Face Cream and Eye Serum, however receiving the free tube supposed to lock me into their subscription program, which costs over $90 a month per cream. I ordered the free tubes of both. I never received the free samples, instead I was charged $180.00 and received the month worth of supplies which I didnt event test or order. I called trying to return the unopen products but it got me nowhere. Only thing I achieved was cancellation of the "subscription" and deletion of my payment information from their system.

Offer for face cream to erase wrinkles samples costing only shipping charges. However, I am told that I subscribed to a monthly service. I read and reread ad and could not find where it stated this provision. In calling the customer service they fight you in every statement you make regarding your understanding of the product offer. They finally credit some charges but they say it was too late to refund all charges. You get these pkgs in the mail and if you don’t call immediately you build up charges. I was out of town for several weeks so didn’t know I was accumulating these charges until several weeks later and by then many charges were building up. What a scam!!! Please shut these companies down before more senior citizens are taken!!!
