My Story
Bean is 3-5 year old, Merle English Bulldog that came to us after being found by a good Samaritan in the streets of Modesto. We believe she was hit by a car and left to wander the road alone. She had a pelvis fracture in two places, but it healed beautifully!
Bean has a lot of orthopedic issues that are common in her genes as a merle English bulldog including elbow and hip dysplasia on both sides, arthritis, and spondylosis. Bean doesn’t seem to know any of this though! She loves to walk and play like a normal English bulldog. Due to her accident, she is also somewhat incontinent, so she usually wears diapers at night time when she isn’t able to hold it. She is a lover at heart, and despite everything she has been through, she loves people and is constantly seeking affection. Bean would thrive in a home with children and dogs that can respect her space and love her.
