My Story
Hi! I’m Astro. I’m from Arkansas.
From his foster: Astro is a fun, affectionate, and loyal dog. He is athletic and goes for a jog/walk with our family every day. He has learned the basic commands such as “sit,” “come,” and “down” (for not jumping, and he’s been good with them recently). He is crate trained, potty trained, and has no problem sleeping in his crate for 8-9 hours at night.
He’s the type of dog with good senses, so he can be a good watchdog and give you a sense of security. He also knows what to bark and not to bark at. He’s sweet to the other dogs living in the same household. Outside the house, he’s learning to stay calm with smaller kids/people and other dogs in a social setting. It’s a work in progress, but he’s getting better at it every day.
In the house/yard, he pretty much just likes to lie down and keep his eyes out for what’s happening, but he’s not a barker. He enjoys being petted, sitting near his humans, and frequently giving them the stares of love.
