My Story
Buffy the Squeaker Slayer is a fluffy, floppy-eared, 60-pound, spayed female. She is doing well in her foster home as she is house-trained, enjoys her toys, and the comforts of a warm bed after being taken in from a cruelty case. Buffy currently lives with a senior male dog who she can coax into a round of zoomies. She is a little shy meeting people, but a calm slow introduction goes a long way to winning this girl’s affection. No cats are permitted in her realm!
While Buffy’s past life living outside on a chain is saddening, she is working on her socialization skills with her newfound opportunity to explore. Daily walks, car rides, and trips to the park are a few favorite things. If another dog is in her potential new home, she MUST have a meet and greet session with them. Can you spare a comfy bed or couch for Buffy?
Buffy is current on shots, licensed and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment. Dog Adoption Fees:
Puppies – 4 months and under: $200
Adult Dogs – 5 months and over: $95
Senior Dogs (7+ years old): $50
