Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received an email form cruise ship centers saying that although they could not offer me the receptionist position that I had originally apply for. However one of their partners, Daniel Goroff needed a personal assistant. They gave me his email to contact and after a few exchanges we agreed on what kind of administrative duties i would have and a contract. He then sent me a check in advance with my weekly payment and a some supplies. I deposited the check and made the payment into another account. He then had me send out a letter to cover suspicions. Now the check is counterfeit and taken out of my money.
