Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a call from my sister inlaw Monday Night 11/13/2017 stating VMR called her asking for me because i have claim file that I need to pay, I havent spoken to my sister inlaw in years I dont know her phone number or anything of hers for years so that was very weird,I come to work tuesday morning and i have a voice mail from VMR, I called them right away at first they didnt knew who I was I provided my name last name and the collector says to me Oh Yeahhh Honey you owes us money, I knew there was something wrong I start yelling at them and telling them im going to report it to the police the rep hangs up, Now they are calling my work trying to speak to my manager and telling her im going to get arrested at work if i dont pay them. Please help I am done with them who are they to do that. they are calling my family and work. I can find nothing on this company ANYWHERE. It’s not on Google or bbb or nothing on reverse checking their phone number on google. When you call the number yuo get a recording and it sounds like a big phone bank in the background on the voicemail recording
