Type of a scam Debt Collections
Company called ASAP mediation called and said I owed money from a payday loan from Oakwood Services back before 2012. They said I owed around $2300.00 but I could settle today for around $530.00. Otherwise it would proceed to court. They refused to send me any confirming paperwork to prove I took out this loan (which I never did) and got agitated when I asked for it. They knew some personal info about me and tried to use that to persuade me to send money now.
