Message was sent to me through Facebook Messenger by a friend. I did not give any information, as I was skeptical. I only responded with brief answers. I was sent the link of another person and explanation how to go to it, but those 2 messages were deleted by the sender after I said I was not interested.

Victim (my mother) got a friends request from someone that she is already friends with. Saying she got a check from a federal grant. A gal by the name of Tina Wardell contacted my mother and say she would be eligible for a grant and she would have to pay in so much money to get so much money back. I the son than looked online for scams and this showed up with another person.
