Type of a scam Government Grant
Original message sent through a friend on Facebook Messenger upon receiving a Grant: Federal Grant Consultant. He said he was praying for me and hoped I got it. Then he said my prayers had been answered, I was approved. He said he had to be paid first in order to get the money. I was offered a list of grants I could get, for ex. I could pay $750 for $35,000 or $1,500 for $100,000. When I said my brother was a DA, he said he was a lawyer, Kent McAfee. I told him yesterday was a holiday, everything is closed. He said I could do it tomorrow, but keep it hush. He told me to mail the money order to *** *** *** *** **, Lancaster, OH 43130. I told him I mailed it. Then he asked for picture proof.
