My Story
Introducing Chief, the vibrant Great Pyrenees born on July 4th, 2017! Chief thrives in environments where he can stay alert and attentive. As a protective breed, he may take a moment to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal. Chief excels on a leash and is skilled at heeling, whether walking, running, or even riding alongside a bicycle or ATV. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and shake, and responds well to training with an ecollar. Chief requires a responsible owner who can provide structure and understands his needs. While he can get along with dogs with proper introductions and time, he’s best suited for a dog-free home. Chief is cat-friendly but hasn’t been around children, so a home without kids would be ideal. He’s full of quirks and loves to show off his silly side, especially when there’s food involved. He is fully house trained and can live indoors or out. Additionally, Chief adores rolling around in the grass on a sunny day, though it often leaves a charming grass stain between his eyes. And if you’re up for a game, he’ll enthusiastically try to play fetch, although he tends to swing his head back and forth with the stick in his mouth and occasionally ends up on the ground. If you’re ready to give Chief the loving home he deserves with patience and understanding, I’d be thrilled to consider you as his new pet parent!
