My Story
If Angel could talk, she would have a sad story to tell. The poor girl was picked up by Animal Control in pitiful condition – neglected, starved and emaciated! When her picture was posted locally asking for donations to help with her treatment, one of our dedicated PAC fosters immediately went and brought her home.. As her current pics show, after lots of TLC, Angel has thrived and is fully recovered.
Angel is about 1-1/2 years old and now weighs in at a healthy 60 pounds – twice her weight at rescue – and her beautiful brindle coat shines. She is house, crate and leash trained. Breed mix is a best guess, but we believe either Plott hound or Mountain Cur. In spite of her rough start, Angel loves all humans and gets along very well with other dogs. We don’t know how she would react to an indoor cat as her only exposure has been those she sees outside of the fence at her foster home. .
Angel has been spayed, micro-chipped and brought up to date on vaccinations. She is also on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This darling girl is ready and waiting to head for her loving forever home where she’ll know only kindness.
