My Story

Hi! I’m Brisket Bob. My foster family tells me that I’m the easiest foster dog they’ve ever had. Plus, my siblings and I are the world’s snuggliest puppies. I’d love nothing more than to sit next to you for pets and belly rubs. I’m mostly potty trained and get along well with other dogs. I love amusing myself with the toy box and chew toys. I’m working on crate and leash training.
I’m southern charmer looking for a northern forever family to call me their own. My life’s ambition is to be an Insta Famous and Social Fabulous! I have the name, charm and personality to be a STAR! Who wouldn’t want to follow @BrisketBob?? In my down time there’s nothin’ better than de-stuffin’ a stuffie then takin’ a back nap! My foster family thinks it’s funny… I think it’s awesome and comfy! If you’re ready to be my social media manager just submit an application at the link below! See ya on the IG!
If you are interested in Brisket Bob the first step is to go to our website and fill out an application. www.PlacingPawsRescue.org
BEFORE CONSIDERING A PUPPY FOR ADOPTION: Please keep in mind that puppies need attention during the day. They need frequent potty breaks, playtime, socialization and often a mid day meal. Please consider your daytime schedule before applying for a puppy.
SPAY/NEUTER POLICY: Our adoption fee covers the puppies spay or neuter at our vet in Libertyville. If the puppy is adopted prior to the spay or neuter being done you will be required to bring the puppy back to our vet within 30 days for the surgery.
ADOPTION FEE: $425.00 The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.
ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org.
Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed. The best way to contact us is by email at [email protected]. It is very difficult for the limited numbers of volunteers to return all calls. Thank you.
