My Story

Bug was found roaming the streets. She is a shyer girl but is great with other  dogs. She hasn’t been around  cats or kids while in our care yet, but we think she would be fine once she’s warmed up. She is working on adjusting to being inside a house & potty-training. She will go outside with the other dogs, but she will also have accidents in the house. Her foster parents are trying to teach her to go to the back door to ask and we think she’ll learn quickly! She is also learning to like her  kennel. She is fine in the kennel when she’s eating and can whine a bit if you are around and she’s in the kennel. She has medium-high energy. No issues with guarding, leash reactivity, aggression or separation anxiety. She is fearful of new humans though. She has gotten to be much better with her foster parents in the few weeks they’ve had her, but she does still cower when they are walking up to her. Bug is a very sweet girl, and her little personality is starting to come through. She loves to give kisses and enjoys playing with her friends. We think she will get better and better with humans as she spends more time at her fosters house. She’s come a long way in the short time she’s been with us but will need a family that is patient with her when adjusting to a new home.
