My Story

Animal Profile: Aspen is an estimated 1.5 to 2-year-old 45 lb female Husky who was picked up as a stray in San Bernardino after being hit by a car and suffering a broken pelvis. During her recovery she went into surprise labor and required a c-section. Three puppies survived. She has been a great momma and is super sweet and affectionate with people. We will share more info as we get to know her in foster care.
Foster Update:
Aspen is suuuch a sweet Husky! She loves everyone she meets and is so affectionate, always wants pets. She is a great mama to her puppies and likes to play with them and also keeps them in line. She is potty trained and walks well on leash. She does exhibit some prey drive so a house without cats or other small animals would be best for her. Since her pups have now been adopted she has found a love of playing with other pups and gets along well with other dogs. We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard(Huskies are escape artist’s, Aspen can clear/climb a 4.5ft fence), breed
experience is a plus.
