Consumer was contacted by phone by someone that said his name was John Carter with Publisher Clearing House and that consumer had won a car and $8000. All consumer had to do was pay $3,988 for handling fees. Consumer says the company keeps calling her.

You were through facebook messenger. Supposedly from a friend saying they won money from Publisher’s Clearing House for $90,000. But that he had to pay a fee first. The fake friend said that he saw her name on the list and that she just needed to pay a fee of $800.00. Customer talked them down to $100.00. But customer has not gone through with it.

Publishers Clearing House convince my elderly father that he was in the top 50 numbers who could possibly win a million dollars. They were able to convince him to allow them to pull automatic payments from his checking account. Overall in 2015, he paid them over $1000.
