Type of a scam Family/Friend Emergency
A Ben Scott, claiming to be a driller engineer for Pacific Drilling contacted me first on LinkedIn. He said he was currently working in Ireland. He said he lived in California. His LinkedIn profile said he lives in Atlanta, GA. He asked to chat with me chat with chat with me on Whatsapp, there, he was using a New Jersey phone number. He asked me to install Cash app and wanted pictures of my account info on Cash app. Then he asked to send money to "his friend" who was caring for his son in CA.
