Meet ESPEN of the Dutch Litter!
Espen (male) is one of five lab puppies that were dropped off at an overcrowded shelter on 6/4 at just 1 day old without their mom. After being saved just before their euthanasia time, they have been in doting foster homes being bottle-fed & tended to 24/7.
They have had much more socialization than a typical puppy would have. They have been exposed to many helping hands, and canine foster siblings. Their foster parents have already started desensitizing them to loud sounds, toe nail trims, and and baths. (They are all in foster with veterinary professionals)
They are in a foster home in Vista, California. Adoption donation of $500 includes neuter, microchip, DHPP vaccine, dewormers & flea prevention.
Ideal home will have the time to commit to all things puppy! Long work schedules where the puppy would be left alone for 7+ hours without a potty break can be difficult on most puppies and young dogs. Solid plans for puppy socialization, positive exposure, & continued training is a must.
