Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received two voicemails stating that this agency was trying to fax me a set of documents. When I called I was told that I had written a bad check from a payday loan. She asked me if my previous address was —- and I confirmed. She also asked if I banked with Chase and knew the last four digits of my social security number. When I told her this didn’t sound legit she told me that she’d be sending a sheriff to my place of employment with a subpoena and hung up.
