My Story
Poppy is a very playful kitten who could have fun on her own or with her siblings. She loves to chase spring toys and balls until she gets tired. Poppy will come rub her head against you for some head scratches and cuddles. She can be a bit shy at first but quickly warms up to new people. Poppy would do best adopted with a sibling or into a home with another playful, young cat or kitten.
Poppy is a such a beautiful and loving girl! Please come see Poppy and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by appointment and on Saturdays from 1-3pm.
You can get pre-approved for your adoption! Visit our website and submit your application online: http://www.oc-arc.com/adoptions/how-to-adopt/
When you choose to adopt one of OCARC’s animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been:
– Microchipped
– Spayed or neutered
– Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
– Tested for FIV (Feline Aids)
– De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage)
– De-wormed (tape and round worms)
– Given their first FVRCP vaccination:
We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we’ve had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series.
– Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate
These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.
