My Story
Spice is a female Dachshund mix who is around 11 years old and weighs 6.6 pounds. Spice was an owner surrender from a property overrun with many dogs who were not getting great care.
We have vaccinated her, had her spayed, examined by our vet and all the things to make her a great pet. Spice would love to spend her golden years with a person or family that will spoil her and take good care of her.
Adoption fee is $250
All Ashland County Humane Society animals’ adoption fees include:
~spay/neuter
~micro-chip
~de-worming
~vaccinations, including rabies
~heartworm prevention

We are an all volunteer-based organization that does not have a building or a staff, only 8 members with jobs and families, trying to make a difference. We do not have the volunteer manpower to show animals to non-approved applicants. If your application gets screened and approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and you can decide if this is the right pet for you.
