My Story
Lincoln is about 4-5 years old and has had a rough life as a stray on the busy streets of Cortland. He had been outside for a long time and had a bad injury. A kind soul rescued him. She isn’t able to keep him but has visited him at the shelter regularly since bringing him in during April 2024. She pets him and brings special treats.
Lincoln came into the busy shelter shy and timid. He’s gained more confidence. He likes being pet and has become more bold about getting attention from people. He probably would do best in a calmer environment but he’s come so far!
He is FIV positive. He still looks and acts like any other cat. FIV is only transmitted to other felines primarily through deep, penetrating bite wounds. His adoption fee has been waived because we just want him to find a good home. We are proud of his courage.
He has been neutered, FeLV negative, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. Email us at [email protected] or visit the shelter if you’d like to meet our shy Lincoln.
