Meet Gino–Currently residing in Del Valle
Sadly, I think it may be best to rehome Gino. My daughter and I combined households and cats, and he is not happy. It’s been since last August, I’ve tried everything. He is an indoor only cat, and will be 13 this year. He needs to be an only pet, and best to have only older children. He is not a lap cat, but will lay next to you. He loves one on one attention, and grooming. I have always kept him on prescription Hills Science Diet Calming formula to prevent urinary problems as male cats are prone to. I give a little Blue Buffalo Wilderness Adult chicken wet food once a day. I have always used world’s best cat litter (it lasts forever when scooped frequently!).I have had him since he was a kitten, I want him to live the rest of his life in peace. $25 rehoming fee. In Del Valle, Travis County.
***5/24 update: some time after this post he starting to pee inappropriately, but also still in litter box. He’s had a full check up with labs. He looks actually pretty good overall. He does have some protein in his urine, a once a day med will prevent any further kidney damage. His blood pressure is good, his teeth look good (greenie dental treats)etc. I am giving him that pill with a behavioral pill in a greenie pill pocket. The marking/peeing seems to have stopped. He never stopped using the litter box, peed in it always too.I feel he could still thrive in a quiet home as a solo cat.
