My Story
Spayed Female A436564 More about Saphira: I enjoy laying next to my person on the couch, and I enjoy playing. In fact, it will be important for my adopter to provide lots of playtime and enrichment for me. I have good litter box manners! I will need a slow introduction to my new home, starting in one quiet room with managed hiding places, and gradually be given access to more of the home as I settle in. I should be left alone except for feeding and cleaning at the beginning, and let me solicit interactions as I become comfortable. A fear free vet is recommended: I am sensitive for close handling and I do not like to be picked up or held. My adopter should be cat-savvy and comfortable with reading cat-body language. Petting consent tests should be used to prevent unwanted behavior. The shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon – 4:30pm, with no appointment needed to meet available cats.
